Highlights
Winemaking: The harvest is done manually. The grapes are stemmed and separated from the clusters. This is followed by pre-fermentation cold maceration. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel fermenters. The lactic acid fermentation takes place in French and US barrels.
Tasting Notes: Vivid purple in color, with aromas of cherries and red fruit, flavors of raspberries, and hints of vanilla. Good body and structure with long-lasting taste. Gamza is characterized by a unique softness on the palate and delicate tannins.
About Vinal Winery: Vinal was established in 1947 and is situated in the city of Lovech (north-central Bulgaria) in the Danube Plain, one of the five main viticultural regions in the country.
Its vineyards encompass both international and local grape varieties, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, Muscat Ottonel, Muscat of Alexandria, Dimyat, Pamid, Gamza, Varna Muscatel, and Viogner.
